Outline of the research group
"From April 2017 to March 2022, we conducted a five-year research project titled “Development of a Database on the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Situation in Foreign Countries of Origin and in Japan” (Project Number: 17H04471), supported by Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI). "
As part of this research project, our research group operated under the name “Study Group for Promoting Early Childhood Development of Children with Foreign Roots Living in Japan.” We launched this website to provide information that supports mothers, families, and healthcare professionals in promoting the healthy development of children with foreign roots.
This research group is a practice-based organization that aims to create a society where healthcare services are accessible to all, through its information-sharing activities on the "Support Website for Children and Child-Rearing with Foreign Roots in Japan." Its members include practitioners and researchers from diverse fields such as public health nursing, maternal nursing, international nursing, and developmental psychology.
