Outline of the research group
With a four-year financial support by Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Projects, our research group has been engaged since April of 2017 in building a database that offers information on the current situations of early childhood development (ECD) in Japan as well as the situations of ECD in the countries foreing residents in Japan have come from. This website, as part of our reserach efforts to promote sound growth of children with foreign roots, aims to provide information that will come in useful in supporting the children, their mothers and families. The information provided on this site can be used by the parents, care-givers, medical/welfare professionals, and anybody who is interested in helping healthy and happy development of children living in Japan with foreing roots.
